I can see what you mean, some stuff will need to be 2nd hand to stay in budget, which I'm more than happy to do. I'd like to lower it soon and maybe have a look at a 2nd hand exhaust and headers after that. Also going to try and pick up some stock tail lights this week I think.

Anyone got any suggestions for new wheels that might suit? I'm keen to switch out the ones on it as soon as possible haha.

Coilovers and wheels/tyres first thing good choice son. Will make a world of difference, heaps of fun on the roads within legal speeds. You can always get DC2 VTiR fat fives or EM1 alloys. Can pick up a set round 200-500 depends on tyres and looks good imo.

Personally i like to keep the car nice and quiet, only make noise when i plant my foot so my vote goes to CAI/SRI and stock headers/exhaust.

Going to go have a look around at Honbits today and see if they have anything of use there. One of the cars I was looking at buying actually had fat fives on it that the owner had picked up from a wrecker or something, so maybe I'll be in luck.

Fat fives would be a great idea, and look nice with a small drop. Good luck.

Yeah I agree, I like the look of the fives. Too bad I was an idiot and went to a wreckers on a sunday haha! Didn't realise what day it was, oh well. Found these online but not sure if they're good as I'm not 100% on what fat fives normally go for: http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/wiley...eels/341006596

There's also a set of em1's up for $500 with 80% tread, but I'll go check them out in person.

Might drop by hontoys and honbits tomorrow and see what I can find.

Those are CRX fat fives. You don't want those ones, haha. I mean, you could get them, but what you really want are Integra fat fives, which were fitted to pre-facelift DC2s. They look much better.

Should be looking at $300-400 a set, no more.

Haha yes they do look much better, cheers Indie! I'm hoping for some luck over at the two smithfield honda wreckers tomorrow, might spend the day hunting for bits and pieces. I think I've pretty much got my heart set on the fat fives now, they just look so clean! Also hoping to pick up stock tail lights tomorrow, realised after washing my car today that some moisture is sitting in one of the tail lights and has turned the inside a gunky black. The chrome lights don't look great to start with, so they have to go haha.
