oh, i thought the thread was about the one user junyu/ummmz..
perhaps have a dedicated sticky in the FS section with a list of scammers and who to look out for. those that dont respond to the allegations can be added to the list lol

Yeah this particular thread is about junyu/ummmz. Problem with having a dedicated thread regarding scammers is that people start posting in there for the slightest bad trading experiance. Before the iTrader system we tried something like this (dedicated thread for trader experiences) and well...let's just say it didn't last very long due to some of the posts made and complaints from other users!

I haven't heard anything back from the police recently but update this thread if / when I do. Please PM me if anyone has more information.

Got home this afternoon and surprise, surprise their was a cheque in the mail from the Victorian department of Justice refunding me my money from W.Yue A.K.A ummmz. Last I had heard from the Vic police was that he owned up to it but my chances of getting my money back was nil,which was fine as I was just happy to know the long arm of the law had him facing court for it and hopefully a criminal record.

this william yue (firesports) scammed me for $160 for a pair of dc5s rims..its been 3 weeks now...

Found you after digging up information on William Yue.

I paid for some wheels that never came until i lodged a police report with SA Police. I then got sent the rims but no tyres as promised. Its been months and im still chasing this idiot.
Please be warned - WILLIAM YUE is a liar and a thief , do not buy anything from this person.

He has currently scammed people on OZRenaultSport, OzHonda, Firesport, Toymods, FordForums, FordXR5turbo.com and others.
His usernames are WillYu Willaim Yue and others mentioned here. He drives an orange XR5 Turbo and lives in Attwood Victoria. I wont post the address or home phone number here as per forums rules.
I am going to chase it up with Vic Police - If any others that have been scammed want to contact me, please PM me and we can go from there.

If you already know the address, then can I suggest that you compile a list of victims, amounts and forward it to the local police department. if im not wrong, the amount has to add to $10k+ to be worth the officer's time to investigate.

A few years back, I was taken $530, and that was the information relayed to me.

Another option would be to file a minor case claim in your state, and get a process server to act on it. This is what I did and the fella paid up quick smart.
