Fujitsubo has a nice sound..not to overpowering to the ears. Havent listen to the others; but loud exhausts can become quite annoying after a while imo... But for performance def go single outlet as mentioned by Baboo...

I bought a HKS silent hi power series cat for my subie liberty n/a 2.5i my04 which was too which had too much drone as exhaust is for the turbo model then i stuck the factory y pipe back on and went mufflers only which was much nicer much less drone cant find a buyer for them at the moment seriously considering getting them converted to fitted onto the euro

Well about 2 months ago i went to D&T performance centre... They are specialist exhaust makers and fitters...

Quoted me $1600 for dual exhaust from cat back using stainless steel piping mandrel bent... Saw their work on a ford it was on a hoist and had a look under the car.. & it was the cleanest work i have seen... Damn it looked so neat and damn bling that it looked like a piece of art...

So wondering if custom made or bolt ons is preferred?

Pum[Z] -- I gather you're in Adelaide too (unless there's a D&T in other cities). From what I've seen/heard, I'd recommend Exhaust Technology over D&T Performance. Nothing to do with the workmanship -- more to do with sound tuning and getting the absolute most power gain from the exhaust system...

I've heard of D&T Performance and have heard both good and not so good stuffs about them though...

PeeKay! How's your holiday in the states??? Also your Fujitsubo isn't the full system as I recalled you saying Baboo retained the first part of the system, I will be interested in if there are any way that it can be tested to see if it degraded the performance running the OEM pipe from the cat to the dual system u got. Also perhaps without the first part of the system (resonators and all) your exhaust note might be softer or dampened? I remember hearing it and at idle it was quiet as....

I am not running the OEM pipe I am running 2 1/4 inch with Resonators that just replaced the fujitsbu resonators so I would say is pretty much the same. I am running two though and may take one off to see how noisy it is they were quite pricey to install so am not sure if I will do it other wise would have wasted $150+ dollars as they are full stainless steel. Holiday is good but getting a bit expensive with the mods I have bought.

IE AEM sprk plug cover and unorthodox racing oil cap $186 US for both and $170 US delivered for the Valve cover. Also may by the Skunk 2 gear shift knob which is $50 US.

Yo Peekay! I think you're spending more on your car than on your holiday! Well have a good time and we might just organise another meet up yeah!
