Alright, figured it's time to give an update on what im doing to my car... lol
Some of you know I've got a HKS ground kit (purple) on the car, but frankly it's too short for my needs.
So im making my own, and while im doing that i'll replace the battery terminal as well.
Getting 25ft (7.6m) of 8gauge red wire from Amazon for $25 bucks shipped (OMG).
and just gonna pick up some battery terminals and ring terminals off SCA.
Gonna ground the following points
- Throttlebody
- Auto Transmission
- Injector base and sensors
- Engine Block
- Chassis x2
I dont think I'd use all 7m of wire tho, but anyway, it's cheap.
Also going to replace the unifilter that came with the icebox with K&N (probably add some seals around the box tho), got the K&N off Amazon for $40... SHIPPED.

Will you just be going straight to ground from those points or link them to a central hub and ground that hub?

Link to the central hub (which is the battery terminal with 2x grounds connected)

We all should hear from MingZai very soon, he's got something cooking from Hondata already, so i'll just tag it off him afterwards, since we're both auto.
Need $$ for rims and suspension.

More like 5/6 to one, I do still have the "L" shapes braket from the HKS kit so I will reuse that.
The only problem is the auto tranny ground, I can't reach it an I got no jack to lift the darn car up

I've used a grounding kit before and it doesn't really do anything in terms of performance except put a bunch of wires under the hood. The best bang for the buck items are Headers (with HF cat), Lightweight flywheel (manual), Pulleys and Intake. The rest do almost nothing in terms of power.
For handling, Suspension, Rear Sway bar is all you really need.
-
Not really a performance thing more used to keep the voltage as stable as possible which result in possible smoothing of idle and less voltage drop when electrics used.
-
Sounds like a plan, mines a manual so ill pioneer it manual style if he succeeds

If you want this either of you. Its yours for free.
Btw ming i saw your car outside David and cammys with all your mates
