Guys I'm looking at getting some new brakes, since my discs seem to be slightly warped and I'm getting a bit of vibration.

I'm super fussy and any and all vibrations have to go. So I was thinking of going with ceramic pads. Any recommendations? I'm going to have to buy them from OS arent I?

Pads are the one thing that I didn't do myself on the car.

It's never been tracked, not in my ownership, and I doubt previously either since I bought it bone stock.

I had a shop do them and was replaced with generic/aftermarket.

They were badly warped when I bought the car (real tugging feeling when braking). That combined with the screeching sound that I wanted to get rid of, so I got them to replace pads and rotors at around 50-60k, Car is now at 93k, but I am feeling vibrating, not so much tugging when driving. I have replaced the tyres (as I was told there was a slight lump in them). Replacing them made no difference, so I have a space pair of tyres now (as i believe the lump was a complete bullshit excuse).

Have had the wheels rebalanced multiple times. I'm getting the wheels refurbed next week, and they will look for any possible buckles, which could be the culprit.

If it's not that then it's either my alignment/camber/toe - which is quite overdue since I've been lifting and adjusting the car so often, I have not seen the point in spending money on alignments when I'm only going to spoil it next time I adjust the sussy.

So if it's not a wheel buckle or alignment issue, then I am putting it down to the brakes or bushings.

I am considering a pair of BuddyClub Extended Ball Joints (http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm..._FG_Suspension).

Also considering upgrade of traction balls (http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2224196) or the Fullrace (http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/suspe...l-install.html) or even the poly bushes (http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/suspe...l-upgrade.html).

Thoughts guys? I've been dealing with this for the last 6 months or so

EDIT: Sorry for the tremendous post - It's been on my mind alot haha

holy shit dude, quite lot of potential issues. try someone else's stock rims on. 40000k old pads and rotors should be fine unless you splashed then with water or something. maching isn't expsnive i don't think

as for the other things u listed,

i think an alignment will fix steering pull, not so much vibration, but they might spot things

i dont think new bushes do anything except for making ur ride more stiff and bumpy - they absorb small amounts shock

roll centre adjusters will reduce body roll and help u corner.

I'm getting the LM's refurbished next week and in the meantime I'll be rolling on steelies. So if I have the same symptoms on the steelies, that will eliminate the wheels/tyres being the issue.

Then it's down to the brakes / alignment.

Can anyone recommend a decent place in Syd for getting my alignment/camber etc set up? Dave?

    Cheers

P.S yeah the traction balls would be great, they're exxy though, I know there's a cheaper brand that I can't remember the name of right now. Still looking at around $200+ship though.
