all the common problems been fixed by dealer ie window/cd player.
its owned by a 52 year old mother of 3 since day one ie 0kms so i dont think its been thrashed
yeah doesn't mean it hasn't been thrashed! 52 year mothers are the worse canberra drivers. sorry it's one of the many canberra jokes (even amongst canberrans) we have no traffic and good roads (true) so the canberran will say 'everyone but me speeds and is inconsiderate'. Somewhat true my experience is that Sydney and Melbourne drivers are more considerate.
Seriously though take it up the Tuggeranong Parkway (the only freeway) and see if the seatbelt adjusters rattle, minor problem but I've had these under warranty by Rolfe Honda.
Clutch in, make sure it doesn't squeek or click or you'll be replacing either the pedal assembly or master cylinder (or both). Power windows may be slow (will require lubing) but that's not a huge issue. Besides that (not sure if I've missed anything) it's a reliable honda

My clutch has squeaked in the cold for like 20k kms. Just a bit of lube every now and then at it's sorted. No need for replacing

That's your opinion and it's true if you're happy lubing it up every few weeks. But if you want a permanent fix it requires replacing.
It's like saying 'my engine is leaking oil but that's ok, it only leaks a little bit and I just have to top it up every 3-4 days'... Might be working, and there is a work around, but something is still wrong and if you want it permanently gone you have to fix it.
Not having a go or anything - My girlfriend has a Civic. That's how I know. It just started about 2 months ago so I've lubed it up and it went away for about a month and a half. Regardless it will come back and get worse as time goes by. It's a known niggle with the FD. Google is your friend if you want to confirm.

Just like lubing the side window runners is a temp fix. A leaking engine isn't in the same boat as a squeaky clutch though. One is much more critical lol!
I mean if the clutch is squeaking, it's not doing any harm, it's just annoying. And it's more like every 6 months I give it a quick squirt.
