    ep3 gruppe m water issues?

has anyone had or heard of any issues with water splashing up the bonnet and going down the scoop???
wouldnt it go straight into the filter?

Gruppe m is pretty good as it has the water drain hole on the bottom. Even if water does get in, there is like a lump/basin on the bottom so it catches the water and wont hit the filter directly unless you drove your car into a pond.

I've haven't seen anyone that has had an issue so far.

Copied and pasted from the other thread lol.

No issues here. Bought it with the car and it's been in my hands for over a year and a half now.

What water issues the only issues is when water splashes on the cat and dissipates you hear funny noises.

Even if you put a hose down the scoop water will still drain through the drilled hole. The filter sits like 15-20mm away from the opening so water will never penetrate it.

    Exactly,

The drain hole also sits in a section which is a good 2-3cm lower than where the filter meets the box.

Minimal water would make it to the filter once it has past the drain hole.
Thats why I regularly clean my filter and apply K&N oil to it. So the water just gets repelled.
