    nothing lasts forever.

    maintenance helps it last longer.

Yes the colour red does fade a bit faster, but all paint fades. Particularly darker colours. White last longest and look cleanest from experience

Any idea/experience with keeping red in top shape? the only idea i have is wash fornighty + wax every 2months + car cover when not driving for cars without garages or keep outside

That's about it. Park it under a tree, where possible. Milano looks great when it's in good condition, so as long as you're happy to take a bit more care of it, it's probably worth it. More modern paint also doesn't suffer from this as badly as older paint did, so as long as you do the maintenance it won't end up looking like an early-nineties Commodore. Plus a car cover when parking it at home will make a big difference.

Worst case scenario is an eventual same-colour doors-closed respray, which is at least cheaper than a regular spray.

Just curious cause saw a milano red dc5s with low ks thats why. But images of red cars i seen just makes me but from what i know hondas paint are quite utterly bad.
If i could would prefer a black or white but it fairly hard to find one with low ks.

Yeah, I've heard the same thing about Honda paint. Some models having thin paint, things like that. You can never go wrong with Championship White, though. One of the nicest whites, and you know it won't fade. As you said though, kays are the priority.
