    Manual conversion for 5th gen

Moreso than the usual "can it be done what do I need"
I actually need to know how many people have done it and what sort of costs were involved. Did you do it yourselves or get someone else to do it. How hard are the parts to source? what are some good places locally (SA) to find parts?

My auto trans is on the way out and if it fits the budget I'm keen on doing a manual conversion in my 96 vti - I just need to weigh up the pros and cons.

    Thanks guys

dunno wat u need but i know that you will have problem putting the pedals coz there was no brackets on the auto car to put the pedals u got to make one. i got my car yesterday did a h22a, i reckon its better u do the conversion, or sale your car and buy a manual waste of money
