Heard on the grapevine that NSW might be getting another track built south of Nowra. App MCA owns a block of dirt that they are hoping to build a motorbike friendly racetrack on, sound like they will also be keen to put on track days similar to Wakefield.

Anybody else heard anything ??

So, really, will the Honda Nationals 2013 be held at this new Sydney Motorsport Park ??? would allow for more people to get there wonder what the fees will be?

Did a Driving Solution trackday this afternoon at a very wet Eastern Creek and we were given the green light to use the new 4.6km full circuit. I gotta say the new corners are awesome. Grip on the new section was thru the roof. Tight slightly off camber corners, elevation changes galore and plenty of track width which should allow different lines to overtake. Bloody brilliant.

Had an opportunity to drive the new track in the morning session. We had a few dry runs before the wet weather came around.

Yeah looks like you had a bit more luck with the weather Benson. What did you think of the new section ? Lap times ? Cheers

New section is good. It's got uphill, downhill, blinding slow corners. Would be a good challenge for all cars!

We were lapping in the 2:02 - 2:04 range in the morning runs.
