i say get the sidchrome set *imo* slightly cheaper, lifetime warranty, and with the money you save, you can get yourself a set of irwin bolt grips.

you get the deep sockets too with the 1/2" set. might not need them on the car unless you are working with exhaust, but around the workshop they can come in useful.

if you have time and be arsed, go to your local pawnshop, they might have a few sidchrome sets about.

kinchrome jack stands look good at 5T. should be plenty to make sure they dont fail on you. by the way if you are using them on paving, can i recommend you get a piece of plywood and cut out just nice for the jack stand base. you will avoid cracking your paving/concrete when you load the car on it.
