Hi guys, I've got an integra which i am interested in, but what should I look for when inspecting one? And what would a mechanic inspected during a full inspection?
 Cheers

compression, important to make sure your dc2 wasn't in a head on collision, and if it was make sure they did a good job, i found that out the hard way =D..
rust? clutch plate, transmission, oil ect to see if it has been looked after, any rattling, and just general paint work.

Make sure you check the FLUX CAPACITOR this is the most important step.
If its bad the car wont be worth buying

The flux capacitor is something every car has, you need to search hard to find it, its normally found under the passenger seat, if its damaged then walk away, if its good the you can go back to the future

I dont care too much about the engine, because its so cheap and easy to fix up. If always change the timing belt and water/oilpump, install new pistonrings and a gasketkit before i drive any new B-series engine. that way you're sure you do it right. Make sure timing is right too of course.. set everything to TDC, and its rock and roll. Oh - lets not forget the valvelashes! 0.16mm on intake, and 0.18mm on exhaust.
As long as the chassis is ok, no rust, no dents, paint must be good too, and windows has to be fine too. Suspension and drivetrain may be fixed up easily, so my main concern would have to be rust and exterior wear.

Yer this is extremely important man. Make sure the flux capacitor is charged at 1.21 giggawatts otherwise your car might need a bolt of lightening 2 start.
