    yah that was with the compression calculator!

    stock jdm conrods stock jdm p30 pistons 1 layer gasket 0.030'' off the head 8000rpm operation... and the calulator came up with 12:10:1

    must be an error man, shaving the head is only a minor increase in comp, 12.1:1 is a LOT to come from just a 30 thou shave and thin gasket.

    30 thou is very thin, like a few sheets of paper.

    yeah true.. hmm well im not sure i will be happy with a low 11 comp i just got word from the machine shop that i have bent valves :/ soo getting those done now. so i reckon yeah just 30 thou off and prolly just a oem or thin gasket see what happens.. but if i go back to factory timing i shouldbe alright for clearence?
