    must be an error man, shaving the head is only a minor increase in comp, 12.1:1 is a LOT to come from just a 30 thou shave and thin gasket.

    yeah true.. hmm well im not sure i will be happy with a low 11 comp i just got word from the machine shop that i have bent valves :/ soo getting those done now. so i reckon yeah just 30 thou off and prolly just a oem or thin gasket see what happens.. but if i go back to factory timing i shouldbe alright for clearence?

    look before you get new valves buy flat faced valves that will raise your comp even more

    if you let the engine builder get you the valves they charge alot on top of that these are stainless steel so it's much better
