Honda sells the console separately with the lid.. meaning pay twice... one for the console itself and one for the lid.... $200 installation?????????? are they crazy or wat?????
cool....very practical for keeping stuff. but since its only screwed on one end, would't it rattle & shake a little when going over bumpy surfaces? does the seatbelt buckle rub against the console?
It clears the seatbelt buckles. The underside of the main section has a large rubber strip that sits on the handbrake. No vibration or rattles.
Doesn't inhibit the hand brake as the whole unit pivots.
All in all its a very clever design and more attractive than the genuine Honda accessory which looks like a stuck on afterthought.
I can't stand the slightest rattle in a car so would go insane if it made a peep.
Most importantly you gain an extra rear cup holder and we all know since the original release of the WRX in Japan that nothing is more important than cup holders. (FYI - The WRX was absolutely hammered by the critics when 1st launched in Japan as it had no cup holders, particularly in the rear.) I'm surprised Honda got away with only 1 rear cup holder out of the factory - how would 3 rear passengers survive.
lol
sound like sound some getting rip off man
i have this armrest which ie design in the same way and it is going to take it off soon and It costed me $30 AUD
