    Oil leak help

    Hey guys,

I have managed to track an oil leak down after months of searching... (engine is B18c2)

It appears the allen bolt in the head (the one which is removed to allow access to the vtec oil galleries during b20v swaps) is leaking oil.

I was just writing to see if anybody else has had this problem and if its a simple fix (ie, just do it up so it stops leaking?) or is it more involved then that.

    Cheers

if its leaking pull out the plug, clean the threads and apply permatex thread sealant (or similar), then torque it up to the correct spec.

I was hoping it was just that, although most threads I remember reading about removing that bolt all say that it needs to be heated? Is this true, or can I just undo it, and clean and reassemble?

I just use the correct size hex attachment on a 1/2" breaker bar. does the trick quite easily.
