    Injen cold air intake problems

    Hello all,

I've just recently installed the injen cai on my ep3 and after I installed it I've had a few electrical problems.

My passenger side headlight does not work completely and the indicators flash rapidly.

During the installation I had to relocate the grouding wire and disconnect the battery. But thats about the only electrical-wise stuff I had to fiddle with during installation.

    Any ideas?

    Checked your fuses?
    Or maybe burnt bulb?
Or try disconnecting your battery again for a few minutes then connect them up..

grounding problem. make sure the grounds are connected properly metal to metal, or you plugged the wrong connector.

Yeah the ground wire is connected to a metal bar the instuction booklet told me to put it. Where is the ecu fuse? Maybe I should try reset it from there?

Found out the problem. Yeah it was connected to the chassis, except there was paint where I relocated it lmao silly me. Sanded it down for a good ground contact and now it works fine.

The paint should really matter unless there was a particularly thick blob. Look at all the other factory mounting points - they're all painted. You might want to just dab a bit if rust preventer on it or just spray some lithium grease on the area.
