Do Honda stock up such bolts? Or auto stores like SCA, Autobarn etc? (what is the exact name for this btw?). thanks

You'll have to get it from Honda. (Had to get mine sent up from Melbourne)

It's called a Head Cover Bolt, just take your VIN no. and show them a photo off your phone, they will understand.

Should be around $10 from honda . that type of bolts tend to snap easily if not torque correctly.
PS: change the rocker cover seal if you haven't already.

No way $10 from Honda, my b-series one snapped and was quoted a ridiculous price for it. ended up getting a spare at GPC

Checked for the head bolt cover, 17$ from Honda.

The VC gasket is for 40$. All the rubbers seals that include the Sparkplug tube rubber seal, washer head covers and including the VC gasket are in good condition. The rubber is not hard and no cracks. Should I still change the VC gasket (and leave the spark plug and washer head covers)? Car at 108,xxx kms.

edit: anyone know the torque specs for these bolts?

since gasket is the wear/tear part. might as well, since it's open.

I did the adjustment. I used to service it at my nearest honda dealer but a few things they did that pissed me off, thats what got me into DIY. Save alot of money now and am more satisfied as I do the work myself.

if you want to give it a shot let me know, i can help you (with pics too). but need alot of patience.
