    Install Price

whats up guys just a quick Q,

i just got quoted for a b16a halfcut "EG", supplyed & fitted for $6500-$7500, work to be done would be

    1. Getting it in.
    2. Fitting the breaks from the halfcut "think he said the JDM ones were bigger??"if so can any1 verify.
    3. Adding full climate control??? "dont know if the JDM EG came with this"
    4. All wiring. And the tuning......i think.

Things like this, do you guys rekon its a decent price, i think it's ok not to happy about the price though. I really wanted a b18C can any1 tell me how much a decent H/C would cost then the cost of install, is it possible get a b18c/installed for the same price?? Am i gettin setup to be BURNED!!
thnx for all the help in advance.

from what i can gather from reading posts about this kind of thing before, the brakes from the half cut will be better coz they were designed to pull up a car running that engine. Also heard that aircon (climate control) needs to be changed along with the engine. As for the price id have no idea, sorry man.
...... and that's all I have to say about that.

that's $2500-3500 off a H22 conversion.. pricey pricey, where did you get the quote from?
why don't you get "[[danny]]" to do it for you

    link

btw i think EG6 brakes are bigger and calipers stronger.

thats a little on the steep side, considering some workshops are currently getting in B16a for around the $2500-3000 mark... labour shouldn't be that much.
