Fitting dc2 vtir brakes to ek civic
So I've got the whole trailing arm setup with hand brake cable etc.
Also have the brake booster and master cylinder.
I currently have drums on the rear
So everything lines up. Just my existing brake lines are too small. Do I get an adaptor? Do I have to get new brake lines? Any other issues i will run into?
Thanks in advance guys..

No ones done this before?
What about 5 stud how do you guys do that?

are you sure? i had ek4 master cylinder and replaced with dc2r master and booster, all the lines matched up. the only thing that was different was the proprotioning valve. Take a picture and post it up, that way we can help out more haha
Also, you have to get rear handbrake cables from an ek with rear discs, handbrake cable from dc2 chassis' is about 2-3 cm shorter at the connection to the handbrake lever. unless you're very innovative and can make/weld custom brackets to suit id be sourcing out some ek handbrake cables lol

be more specific when asking, there's lots of brake lines on a car....
to answer your question DC2 VTIR (ABS) brake master cylinder uses 12mm flare nut on the rear port.
need to either cut and re-flare with new nut, get adaptor or get new line made up.

EK4 and DC2R BMC lines will mate but DC2 VTIR is an oddball
Did you try and fit DC2R handbrake cables when you did the 5-lug conversion and they came up too short? Interesting if that's the case, I need to take some measurements. If you get the chance can you give me the part no. on your DC2R handbrake cable so I can compare to mine, it's printed on the cable itself

I used DC2R on my EJ with zero problems, so im wondering how would goin to DC2 master+booster be having troubles fitting ???
If its the 98 - 00 VTir they are 1 inch master an booster, an it should fit fine with zero modifications to the brake lines, no flaring nothing, though im not sure about the 93 - 97, they mite be 15/16 master cylinder correct if im wrong... which might explain it, but i wouldnt know lol, but even than ive seen ppl run those ones in ek's

actually i tried a custom bracket wouldnt even fit at all if ur using dc2 ebrakes like me, its that much of a tight fitting lol... i just left my lines with no brackets as there was hardly any play or movement haha

Adaptor? Sounds good.. How about the calliper side? Where do I go about getting one of these

I already explained it and it's been covered before. DC2 VTIR is DIFFERENT, don't just assume they are the same as DC2R
