Beep sound after lock

I have a 2006 Honda Accord Euro Luxury. It does not "beep" after I locked the door via remote control but my friend's 2007 does. Anyway to program it to have the beep sound?

by default it does not beep, perhaps your friend got a aftermarket system... or perhaps its programmable.

I hate those alarm system that beeps the horn

the euro central locking does not beep lock or unlock

hate any sound that advertises that you are walking away from the car, including all horns/chirps/etc.

Is it not programable? I know that with the Camry it is, although the Camry's horn sounds crap.

It's not programmable. KP Technology has a module (ITEM# EB20) that does allow you to do this. It uses an external speaker for the beep (Lexus/Modern Toytas) so its not as intrusive as the horn.

to be honest, all toyota horns sound crap. even the lexus horn sounds weak. the best would be those maritime horns. or the ones on the mercedes big (jeremy clarkson blasted one and got kicked out of the london carpark)

Thanks for the feedback. It seems so stock to me. Not sure whether my friend for an aftermarket. And he got the reversing sensor while mine is missing.
