Had a lowbeam headlight blow the other day.

The lowbeams are hb4 (9006) bulbs, and theyre stock 55w.

I remembered reading a while back that the hb3 size (9005), which our highbeams use and stock 65w and the fitting is only slightly different.

Bought a pair today of Philips X-tremeVision in HB3 and trimmed and installed them during lunch.

Looking forward to see if there's a noticeable improvement in light over standard. Reflector headlight are so shit.

Duffy I'm keen on your feedback on these, I've been wanting to upgrade my lows for ages as I do a shit load of night time rural back roads and diff between highs and lows is huge.

never heard of them, sound a bit cheap mate, why not hit the boys at BYP for a set of Gabs if your on a budget, atleast if you have any problems you'll get support.
