I've had RE001's previously and they were pretty good... I now have RE002's and i don't think i've owned a better tyre in my life, really grippy tyres.

Yeah don't fall for the tread pattern bullshit. Mostly look at the tread wear indicator , lower the better, and mainly a soft compound tyre.
Just get the re001 or 2, soft tyres with good grip and decent life. Don't spend to Much on tyres.

But it would be a different size and probably not $125.
    BUT!!! there is a ku31 in 204/45/16.
    there is also a kh17.

    Bridgestone:
    re001
    re002
    my01
    my02

but all those bridgstone ones are considered sporty so probably not going to be as cost effective.

however last time i got tyres were ling long tyres only because this guy insisted that he could get me cheap tyres. And im not sure why but he was under the impression all tyres were the same, just the prices varied. I would of been happier getting re001/2, because im a racecar driver - not really, but the ling longs werent bad.
they offered as good a handling as the previous ku31's did just for regular driving.
I have only ever made them slide a few times:
1st time was when i hit vtec in 1st gear through a corner (my fault)
2nd was aqua plane, the rain that day was quite strong and i was driving over very smooth bitumen at "speed". inevitable.
3rd I went around a corner waaay too fast, and i oversteered (but i caught it)

other than that those linglong greenmax tyres at 95ea are pretty good value.
    much better than supercats.
