Oil sandwich problems?

ok when you took off your oil filter the first time to install the sanwich plate did you check to see if the seal on the oil filter came off or not??

^^^ I think this. Make sure it's flat and clean before you reinstall! And that you oil the seal on the sandwich plate (if its still there.. :P) Mine came with two inside bits... but I only needed one - all hand tight, sealed up nicely.
