    These are all absolutely correct.

Meisters are pronounced in the obvious fashion. Like 'heist'.

Tein, is TAIN like PAIN but with a T

and the brand Defi is Deh-fee (the eh sound should sound like the E in Pedophile) (ee sound is like short "i" noise, like the "i" from "tit")
not Dee-fee, other wise it would be spelt diifi

That's funny, the Japanese don't have a good way to pronounce "f"

Ask them to say "coffee" and they pronounce it "coh-hee"

thats true, the F/H are a mix in some cases.
but that is actually the japanese word for coffee.
    コーヒー
    koohii

in the word futsuu (meaning usual/normal) it also sound like hutsuu.

but fi is a different character the hi.
the character for fi is a hybrid character which resembles the Fu/Hu character, ふ, plus the i character, い.
    so is more like fu-i / hu-i.
so although sound similar they do have seperate characters.

Yep, definitely what I was trying to say. I just didn't know how to type it out. So kind of like Mouh-gen

I have a bit, a very small bit of understanding of Japanese, but nothing that would help this thread
