    New Civic

Just purchased a 1991 Civic Si DOHC 1.6 Non Vtec the other day with discs in the rear instead of drums its a D1618 DOHC so can I put a b16 VTEC head on it or any sort of other modification? like a D18 head?
i also heard these engines handle turbo pretty goodso can someone tell me about that?

if the engine is healthy , i would turbo it. You can not use vtec head on this engine. u can not use any b series head on any d series block.

200,000ks and turbo hmm that would be harsh , i recommend a rebuild first.

It's a D-series, I'd just turbo it. Could still be perfectly health.

Handles turbo well. Upgrading internals all depends on your power goal mate.

will require fair bit of cash and custom work, muc more than a B-Series engine
