    h22a rebuild

    Hello Ozhonda'ers,

Anyone know what the newton force of the bolts are for a H22A Type S?

Also, is it a bad idea to use the orginal bolts from the engine, or should I go get new ARP bolts? cause I know some/most engines, once you pull the head off, the head bolts need to be replaced as well as head gasket.

P.S. if you want to know which bolts, it's all of them, the engine is in pieces.

    Thank you in advance.
    *BAAAAAAAPPPPPP!!!!! KABOOOOMMMM!!!!!*

seeing as my previous signature came true, here is my new signature:

BAAAAAAAPPPPPP!!!!! Holy SH*T! my engine is still running 110% awesome!!!

    Hi,

try take a look at the prelude service manual. I'm willing to bet the type S bolt torque specs are the same. (unless the part looks different). I have it downloaded, but i know it's online somewhere. (maybe here http://hondatech.info/search/honda/)

Bonus points for you if you can find a type S one.
