and in regards to the airbag light. I've been told by bennjamin (moderator on ozhonda) that they should deploy. Furthermore, top one says that they should as well. In saying this, im not saying that they WILL deploy, but that they SHOULD. I'm sure no one really wants to test this theory :P

Yeah i asked Deddy as well he said they should. Someone in USA with an rsx i think said the airbags DID deploy even though his light was on. BUT, rsx would have had an older sensor so you never know - either way, testing out the theory is just ridiculous lol - unless you pulled some stuntman shit and jumped out before the car crashes.....

just to verify the post couple pages back. I currently have a FD1 civic which doesnt come with side airbags. which is why i bought some evo recaros =)

haha yeah true true! also, the RSX and FDs have a similar ECU setup. Deddy tried to bypass my ecu so that the airbag light wont show but no success. He said it was very similar to the DC5S ones as he can't bypass those either.
