    [cl9] Leather interior conditioning (tan/beige)

    Hey guys,

Had a search but couldn't find what I was looking for.

What product do you guys recommend to keep the beige leather interior (2006 model if that matters) in good condition?

Just bought a second hand one which is in need of a bit of a touch up.

    Cheers!

Any of the better grade leather clean and feed/conditioner products should be fine. Lexol, Mothers, Wolfgang, Zaino, Pinnacle, Poorboys, Swissvax...

Just be sure to test on a small area first, and follow the instructions exactly.

If you're in Melbourne, there's a great detailer called Final Inspection, they have this kit:

Depends on exactly what kind of condition they're in...

I got this upon recommendation from CCP and was very happy with it. Bought the car with 60k kms and leather had become quite slippery, hard and shiny looking. After using the kit along with Duragloss conditioner the difference seemed like night and day.

I used to use this stuff: http://www.meguiars.com.au/products/...-leather-foam/

It was a pretty good cleaner/conditioner in one product, easy to use and smelt real nice!

Smells so good that we now use it on the couch inside the house!

I use the AutoGlym leather cleaner and conditioner. Seems to work quite well

I used the Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner - its pretty good imo. does the job. Good price too.
you can try the Gold Class Rich Leather Gel - it doesn't leave white marks..

never had experience with leather cleaners.. one thing preventing me from trying is 'glossy' finished on leather after use.

    is that quite common?

Good quality dedicated leather conditioners should not change the gloss of the leather. Cheap all-in-one products and pump sprays may contain gloss enhancers that will though. The leather will start to become glossy from use as it wears. I hate it too, but that's the way leather is.

Test on an unobtrusive area first though if you're worried.

If you're in Melbourne, I'd recommend swinging by Final Inspection.
