Recaro slowly reclines back during drive? HELP

    Hey guys,

I purchased a Recaro SR3 recently (using Bride rails) and have noticed that the seat slightly reclines back during the course of a drive.
e.g. I'll have it reclined at (say) 100 degrees and over the course of a 20min drive it'll recline back to 120degrees (these numbers may be wrong, but should give you a rough idea).

Is there anyway I can fix this issue? Parts I can buy and replace? I'm assuming something has worn out.

    Thanks!

its a dud seat man, it shouldnt be able to recline on its own, it should only recline if the nob is turned to make it so

think of a bolt, imagine if u were to push a bolt out, with you thumb, and is u applied pressure the bolt would turn so that it could tighten or loosen (depending which way its being pushed).

thats pretty much the problem u have now.
its difficult to get parts to go in the seat, but i would buy another one, and take your one apart, and see if u can find a worn gear or broken stopper.
and use the new one to compare.
but i doubt you could find parts for it.

You can find parts easily on Japan yahoo auctions.

I emailed Lisa Bristol from ideal seat and she's told me to call the workshop. they'll be teaching my over the phone on how and which bolt to tighten.

I'm sure I'd be able to buy parts off her. I don't mind paying a premium since my girlfriend bought me this seat for our third anniversary. lol I'm too soft.

if i had a gf (which i dont because its work to pay for car mods and there ends my life)
i would celebrate anniversary every month, and try score some more car mods
and give her like a box of chocolates.

lol n15 is like a s15 in disguise...
just put a s instead of the N on the chassis number and ur done (Y)
why not go 180sx (some call it an s13R)

180s would be annoying, electrical wise (headlights). more expensive on parts, as I'm led to believe.
s13s are more rigid at the rear.

idk, maybe I'll go 180 one day
