LOL Al, i saw you the other day. your car is looking pretty smick all nice and cleaned up

p.s. i only just realised they are hauling a fujitsubo exhaust in through the passenger window LOL
wonder if they make fujitsubo powergetters for the fd's yet - i would have bought that over the J's 60rs.

Pretty hard to get dish on an FD2R.

    Factory wheel is a 18x7.5 +60
Those are 18x9 +40 (if memory serves)

So effectively the lip of the rim on those sit ~39mm further out than factory and requires 3° of camber in the rear.

oh ok.. thats weird o.O never knew the factory offset was +60

guess standard FDs are made to be stanced compared to the FD2R... Although i thought FD2R had bigger guards.. Really confused atm lol.

longer LCA and more protruding hubs to accommodate brembos would be my guess

The reason the FD2R has such high offset is to improve handling.
With high offset you gain a negative scrub radius which in turn decreases torque steer and improves stability.
S2000 is also another honda that has a +60 offset from factory.
