You will find that the quality of clay bar you used is likely to be a chinese polyclay which are not very good and do not do much to the paint in contamination removal.
The better clay bars on the market if you wish to say are made in Japan and the US.
it certainly picked up more than the mothers car i used the other day
I bought it from the trader Platinum Visuals a while ago
i bought a chinese claybar for 4 bux the other day. i shall experiment with it and see how it goes. bought it for the sake of cheapness. i'll just use a more severe car wash solution i have and give it a go.

How long did you want to have before you need to re-apply? And whats the condition of the paint in.
Hey thanks for the quick response. Ideally, I'd like the longest lasting one so I don't have to keep re-applying it too often. The condition of the paint is excellent for a 12 year old car (I get comments all the time about how new the car still looks), but swirls everywhere.
For the cut and polish i used meguairs medium cut and swirl remover 2.0 for the polish. Mother california clay bar with quik detailer. Then meguairs ultimate wax. It all looked great initially.
