Thanks for the feedback! I think its a choice between the Pirelli P6 and the Yokohama A Drive

Have driven on the P6000 (predecessor of the P6). Magnificent tyre for passenger vehicles. Performance, grip and noise, tread wear, all very impressive.

i got 215/45/17 atm, would it be better to go to a 40 profile for more grip?

40 profile may improve acceleration slightly, due to the wheel being smaller overall, and feel from the tyre will be sharper, but the width is what makes the difference in grip, assuming you're getting the same tyre. Yoko's have typically been tuned for quietness, which is why the they seem lacking in grip compared to else is available in it's class. Having said that, you've been on the A.Drive, so just about anything will have more grip than it (assuming not eco and is in a performance category of some sort). If you liked the A drive, could consider the S.Drive, which is the performance version from Yokohama, or consider Bridgestone RE050a, Nitto Invo or Khumo KU36.

Thx ofr sharing.
Only problem is RE050s are pretty darn exxy. Great tyre.
KU36 I wouldn't use for a daily. More of track day tyre that's road legal.

Ah, my bad, I meant KU31, although I believe it's been replaced by KU39. Haven't tried the later though. RE050a weren't too expensive the last time I checked, although they weren't cheap either.

Thanks in advance

If you're not going to push it at all, might consider something like KU31 [Kumho], C-Drive/S-Drive [Yoko]
Some of the Budget Pirellis have come up to par with others in similar category/price range so can consider them too [Before, they were **(*&%$(*&%]

anyone here running run flats?
got any feedback? noise? comfort? grip? etc?

Personally, the newer RFTs are better then the earlier ones, but I still find them hard and harsh...
Even commuter hard compound tires are more comfy than some RFTs =|
