@ IAN.. SO.. you dont want the d16y4 then? a manual conversion will be a complete b***h to get done considering you donthave any of the hydraulic bits.. and the pedal box
(edit) you could swap the engine over but keep the auto box and run the d16
its acutally alot easier then people make it out to be almost everything is plug and play just a little bit of work to get it all right. gtstripes im hopefully doing mine in a few weeks i can take pics and stuff if you like?
yeah true, not boosting until its fully rebuilt though, and when i get it converted to manual first (hopefully converted before engine goes on, one at a time)
i usually do things one at a time, thats just me. less confusing for me. dont care if it takes longer, i am in no rush at all

If you are rebuilding for boost make sure to use forged low comp pistons, forged rods and upgrade the valvesprings and retainers.
