hey all, on a recent trip of mainly hwy driving i calculated my car used 7.8 litres per 100km i did 680km out of 53 litres. i filled up with bp ultimate, cost me $1.30.9 cpl

the fuel consumption easily doubles when i drive in the city....go figure!

I get around 800kays per tank on highway cruising, thats whithout driving like a grandpa. Just sitting on 120km/h with the odd overtaking involved, but thats with the F22B1. I only get around 600 kays per tank around town though... I use to get 650 ish with the previous engine oil I was using

That's pretty much what I am getting now. My Euro Accord has only 4,000kms on it so I am expecting better consumption further down the track. I too use BP Ultimate it seems to give sharper response but does not offset the increase in consumption when I frequent a certain mountain pass, I guess you have to pay for your fun. Fortunately I live in the country so I get a lot of empty roads. Even though I think the 7.8 figure is good it comes nowhere near the 5.7 I used to get in my Peugeot 306 HDI diesel. Yes, I know apples and oranges comparison.

    Where Is Bundanoon

Bundanoon is 1/2 way between Sydney and Canberra but 20+ kms towards the coast on an escarpment. A half an hour from Bowral. There is a beaut backroad (bitumised) from Bundanoon to Marulan which is towards Canberra, lovely touring road! Hope this helps.
