    Vtec solanoid leak?

    Hey guys. My vtec solenoid has been leaking for a while now and cant seem to find a replacement washer/fix it. Honda says i need to buy a whole new unit (They want $450, i said pfft). Can anyone help me locate it? i have tried ebay, no such luck..

    If you can't buy the rubber gasket itself I'd buy some thin gasket material and cut it into the shape. Then remove the rubber gasket, put the thin cutout in and replace the existing one. It will give it some height.

    i saw that link origionally e240 but it doesnt show the actually seal.

    Do both of them. Make your own and purchase it, still cheaper then 450 bucks. I tried sourcing one form the states when mine was playing up, fixed itself though.

    I just took my car to Hanny's to replace two gaskets for $100.
