My integra does the same thing, when i hit the brakes, the doors lock, so there must be a way to program it

Just one thing I've noticed guys, I think it's when I start to accelerate.. Not 100% sure if its caused by that

But it kind of makes a clicking noise.. Like just one click....

Anyone know what it could be?

clicking noise from the engine bay ? .. when you disengage the clutch ? need moarrr info .

    I get 500 + from my b18c7 ..

cross over will be louder with an injen but if you do decide to get it tuned in the near future, you'll realise having loud crossover isn't everything !

all about that smooth power curve !

Yeh it's kind of like a ping pong hitting something.

I found whenever I let go of throttle usually in gears 1,2,3.

Can't hear the noise when my window is up. [in b4 keep window close jks]

And is definitely coming from drivers side tyre, around the axel

I've looked through google been led to other forums no one ever figured it out.

Could it be the exhaust rattling or some rust collection in the exhaust.

Just remember, the louder the crossover, the more power you are missing out on!

Looks nice mate. I would change the rims and leave it as it looks

What are you looking at doing performance wise?

For the mean time just fixing the problem I have stated above.

Then in the future CAI, exhaust, extractors and hondata tune.

Because, for a naturally aspirated VTEC engine, the torque curve should be one long, smooth pull from idle to redline. If it's not, and you're feeling a large jump in the torque curve after VTEC engages, you are losing power in the midrange prior to engagement - usually cause by bolt on mods not tuned to the engine.

My b18c civic was tuned with a 3800rpm VTEC engagement, you could not feel any VTEC surge or switchover noise, just a very nice and smooth power delivery which pulled all the way to 8200 rpm. It was beautiful.

I thought the noise was just from the air intake letting more air into the engine hence more
Hp and power creating the louder crossover?

I can see where inforNOS is coming from, but that statement is strictly not true. A louder crossover can come purely as a result of material changes and therefore produce no change in power delivery. You could replace your stock intake arm with a metal one connected to the airbox, remove some of the resonator piping and you would have a much louder cross over with no change in power band.

A cold air intake will give you a louder cross over because of the materials usually involved (a metal intake pipe and pod filter), and whilst it will also change your power delivery, it's not because it is louder. If you ran the same length pipe except in plastic, you would produce the same power in the same areas with a quieter cross over.

What infurNOS said can easily apply in other areas though.
