    Re-wire OEM Immobiliser (OBD2)

I'll be replacing the ECU in my OBD2 Civic in the near future so the OEM immobiliser will become redundant. (Engine swap)

Since I'm looking into car security at the moment I was wondering if it was possible to re-wire the OEM immobiliser into another circuit (e.g. ECU power, Fuel pump relay, etc). Would be cool to utilise the chip in the key for something useful.

I know there is 1 red wire from the immobiliser that leads to the ECU. But I need to know how this circuit works. *looks at ECU-MAN*
My thoughts were the original key would trigger a relay that completes one of the immobilised circuits.

Is this possible, has anyone tried this? And if so how does the OEM immob circuit work.

    Cheers
