This is only a general guide and you can fit bigger, more aggressive wheels with little to no modifications, however if you stick within the above specs then you can pretty much guarantee you won't have any issues. Check out the wheel fitting thread if you decide to go aftermarket. Lots of suggestions and specs of what people are running (and with more aggressive setups, what they needed to do to make it fit) and you can easily buy a set for not too much money.
