Engine to airbox hose?

hi guys,

I own a Integra type S and this is probably a noob question but when I was cleaning my engine bay I noticed a hose coming from the airbox going to the engine was not connected to what seemed to be its connection point. Is this hose meant to be connected up to this hole? and what does it do? (see pics)

You own a Integra type S and this is probably not a noob question but when you were cleaning your engine bay you noticed a hose coming from the airbox going to the engine was not connected to what seemed to be its connection point. This hose is meant to be connected up to that hole. It is part of the PCV closed loop system (Breather Hose) (see pics)
