My vtir atts prelude is blowing heaps of black smoke especially when vtec kick in. Is this a serious problem and how can I fix it?
You're running too rich. Preludes naturally do this. It's also possible that there's an issue - but black smoke is normal (as with all sports/sporty cars really..) Check your air filter.

My oil level is always high I replace oil Every 5000-8000kms
What oil you running. Try something maby a lil thicker. 10-40 ect! Also a full synthetic will take longer to break down. Meaning wont burn as easy and longer oil life. Id still do ever 10G MAX though!
