Hey man, I had an incident similar to this last year and my insurer declined the pay out for damages ( I was on third party ). There's really not much to do in this situation, you could leave the damage as is if you are not fussed about it, or if you really want to go ahead and fix it, try calling around smash repairs to get quotes and get it fixed out of your own pocket. Hopefully you get evidence of the guy that did this to you and they pay up. Just sharing my personal experience hope it helps
I know its just the internet and you are just saying an opinion , but you are suggesting something illegal and Insurance companies / police are members on this forum - they see your post , ask me for your IP and location and they investigate you further.
