i know this is out of topic, but have anyone here tried those 'foam-stiffening' for the chassis?
basically what it does it you inject a certain kinda foam into the A & B pillars as well as the door sills on the bottom...the foam expands and hardens almost rock hard and its supposed to stiffen the chassis while reducing road noise & vibrations into the cabin.
apparently its used by a few car manufacturers in their luxury models and also some car tuners used it for their race cars.

Yup, have heard of this chemical. Haven't got a chance to try it out yet though.. HMmm...
i've seen this on best motoring videos too..... they pour liquid like substance into the chassis.... seal it.... let it set... i doubt it very much that anyone here is gonna DIY at home though.....
i've actually read about this product when i went back to malaysia recently for holidays. it was featured in one of the local car magz, and apparently they said it was good. so i went to the shop to check it out, the guy showed me a sample of the foam poured into a mineral water bottle....the bottle was just rock hard! no kidding! and it weighed almost like an empty bottle too. i was really interested to try it out but unfortunately he didnt wanna sell any to me to bring it back to Oz....would have loved to experiment with it myself
