    Standard CRX rim width

Hi guys, just trying to get my car ready for the road and i'm trying to work out what rims I can legally run on it. The car has 6.5" rims on it as is.

Now the tyre placard says that it originally had 5" wide rims on it, and legally I can use rims that are 1" wider than the widest wheel specified by the vehicle manufacturer for the model or vehicle series.

What i'm wanting to know is if any variations of the CRX came out with rims wider than 5"?

    Thanks in advance

    hi there
yes the aus spec ed9 crx came with 14x5 +45
the jap spec ef8 b16a1 came with 14x5.5 offset unknown

Good good size wheel and offset I would go with be is 15x6.5 +25 to 40

or if you want a bit bigger I say go 15x7 +25 to +35
most cops wont know it that bigger
If you see a good Technical post giving advice give some postive rep
