EG hatch climate control

hope this is the right area to ask since its interior related, but how do you remove the climate control unit on an eg hatch? im hoping theres a way to remove it without taking the dash out

Take your headunit and your centre console out where your ashtray is, once you do that there should be two bolts up front of the climate control and one in the centre at the back, simply unscrew them and unplug all the wiring harness to the control and it should just slide out, note if you dont have the auto climate there will be a blue wire going underneath your dash that is used as a lever to open/close aircon locate that and take it of the metal pin and you should now be able to take it out !
