    Wtb: Dc2 cam cap!

As above after a oem cam cap for a dc2 vtir, is there a part number for it that anyone knows?
Went past Essendon Honda but they couldn't find a thing, pretty much useless.
    Thanks

You can't buy individual cam caps. They are line bored with the cylinder head as a casting and thus unique to it. You either have to have yours line bored if its damaged, or if you've lost it, find another head.

Ah right the rubber plug at the rear of the head? I thought you were talking about the caps that hold the cam in place. The plug often comes in a a gasket set. I'll PM you a price.

I recommend using a billet metal seal with o-rings like the skunk2 unit. they are very cheap, seal better than the plastic thing and are reusable! if it ever gets a leak in future all you have to do is replace the o-rings and not the whole seal.

it will do the job, best to use a generous amount of gasket sealant on it though. I have had a new OEM one die after less than 6 months though, so personally I prefer the billet aluminium ones.
