    EK4 Randomly turning off?

Happened the first time this week while at home. As I drove into the drive way, car just turned off and as if there was no electricity or something it wouldn't start back up. Then all the dash lights flashed and the car started right up? Probably after 15 seconds?

Then today, it happened twice. Was driving home and about to turn left was rolling to the lights and car just turned off. Tried starting, no dash lights, then probably dash lights flashed after 5 seconds and car started?
As I was driving home for the second time, was about to flick my blinker to turn left (was raining and wipers were on) flicked my blinker on, only clicked once and car turned off, wipers stopped mid-way and check engine light flashed. About a second later engine light went off, then dash lights flashed and I started the car again?

Could this be a battery problem or an alternator problem?

    Thanks in Advance!

EDIT: Also car rev-hunts frequently, IACV needs to be replaced. Could this be a cause?

    its pretty easy.

    - remove steering column cover
    - disconnect the connector for the ignition switch
    - remove the 2x 6mm or 8mm bolts on the back

    then it simply comes off

    install is the reverse.
