    lol cb u idiot.

stateroads one of the most detailed reports you can get. down to the paint thickness on every panel on your car.

They know a lemon when they see one. many people over at SAU use them to inspect skylines evos chasers and normal cars like camrys bmws and vws.

They got a bajillion point check. compared to the racv crap where they just say if the car is rwc or not.

Example of one of their complete reports: http://www.vehicle-inspection.com.au...ple_report.pdf

But you only use state roads on a car that your REALLY keen on you've brought someone like oscar along to see if the car seems alright as the inspection is few hundred bucks.

But can save you a headache.

ps dun hurt me, u very smart lad

Just had another question... Do rebuilds like this need an engineering certificate?

Yes you would need an engineering certificate so that the engine can be registered to the car. The engine needs to be registered to the car in order for you to get an RWC.

Thanks for the info. I just texted the seller and his response text to my question of whether its been registered was:
"No it doesnt have an engineering certificate, thats why i have not had the engine number re-registered, I dont see any risk and the car can pass pink slip easily"

I then responded with, "what happens if i buy the car and want to get it re-registered?"

which was met with the following response:
"You need to spend about $500-$700 to get an engineer to write a report and use this report to change the engine number under rego. Dr Honda can pass you the engineers contact"

    Thoughts?

I'd be a bit hesitant about the purchase if I was you.

Anyone know what the minimum brake rotor thickness before replacing is for our cars? It would be the same as the FN2 wouldn't it

Silly question I know dc5r owners buy ep3 front sway bars on their cars is to clear aftermarket headers right?, would a front sway design for a dc5r fit our ep3's?

With regards to anything in particular, or does the whole situation seem shady?
