    CL9 power window issue

I'm asking this on behalf of my uncle. He has a 2008 CL9 Euro which he has just purchased. Car is great except the power window behind the driver. It works fine as in it goes up and down with no problem except when you hold the button and close it, it goes up all the way and then down again by about 10cm. It's like it thinks it has hit the limit and goes down 10cm. If you do it increment by increment when closing the window then you can actually close the window but if you hold the button to close it does this funky thing.
I read on an Acura TSX forum that it might need the power window control unit reset? But I cant find any instructions of TSB for this. I have a feeling the motor or the regulator was changed by the previous owner, thus causing this issue as the PCU wasn't reset.
