While there are a couple of references to a B16C on the 'net (ebay is one) Wikipedia doesn't. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_B_engine I would say it's not a variant and somewhat spurious. B16B or B18C, yes. B16C, no.

I did read one search that said it had different cams n that but I believe there isnt a b16c

But I have no idea either

Maybe it was a Mugen variant. Have read that information on their mods is virtually non-existant.
